JB, Ben & Kent (not pictured) hiked Elk Mountain on Saturday. It was Kent's 1st adventure with the boys - he survived & seems to have really enjoyed him self.
I believe a few lessons were learned this weekend - but I will let JB list those.

Sleepover Makeover

Raven, Erica, Mack & Amanda did makeovers on each other before popcorn & movie time. These girls were the best! No fussing or fighting, just fun and playing. They watched High School Musical & were asleep by 11:30.

Birthday Party!!

Pirate swim party, pizza, cake, ice cream & games! The kids had a good time. I make up a treasure hunt with clues all around the yard that 2 teams had to navigate. I didn't sent any of them in circles, which was good.

Treehouse Hoop-la

JB spent most of Saturday helping the Puryear Family build a tree house. This is the progress when me and the kids got there about 2:45. It's a nice addition to their back yard.

Fun in the sun - sorta

During their picnic it began to sprinkle, so they moved it under the table. They have really been enjoying swimming now that it is finally warm enough and the rain is holding off for the most part. They like to use their snorkeling masks from Hawaii.

Happy 4th of July!!
Although the large extravaganza was canceled - we did a family event with the Hag-Pur-Lee-Akin's. I believe fun was had by all!

Our new toy

JB got us a Twilight Zone pin-ball machine this weekend. It has found it's home in the garage next to JB's fridge.
We are all enjoying playing it together.

We all tested last week for our green belts. Raven & Luke did very well this time. We are very proud of them.
