Vegas Christmas - Day 1

'tis the season

Raven & Luke read the scripture and lit the candle this Sunday in Epiphany.
The Sollbergers came by this weekend and the kids played pinball (so did the parents) and had a great time.
Jake is such a cute dog :)

Ice Storm Dec 2007

Ice it did - I'd say over 1/3 inch on tree limbs and such. And VERY slipery! Jake didn't enjoy walking on the grass - sounded like crunching glass!
No school again tomorrow - not so much fun.
Kids are excited until they get board again tomorrow! #%#@#%M#$KN%*$%^
oh-well.
such is winter.

Thanksgiving 2007

JB, Luke, Meme & Papa played pinball. Meme's favorite game is Fish Tales. I don't thinks she stopped laughing while playing :)
JB fried the turkey and I manned the kitchen. I loved it! Mom & Ken (Luke wants to call Ken 'Gramps' now - I think he's OK with that)
came for chili Wednesday evening, but I forgot to get out the camera. It was a very nice evening. Thanksgiving was full of cooking - I loved it! Everything turned out good. No burns, no cuts - it's all good. The kids entertained us with song & dance. We played a few games and watched football.
It was a great holiday! :)

More Raven Zoo Pics

Raven is a really good photographer! Here are some more of her pics from her zoo visit today!
#1 Tiger - #2 kids at zoo - #3 Aligators - #4 Gorilla (best pic ever! & Raven LOVES gorillias!)

Zoo on Centennial Day

Raven got to go to the Zoo after the Parade. Here are some of her pictures :) #1 are wolves, #2 is a deer head, #3 are turtles and snakes, #4 is a black bear - to follow are some of her other favorites!

OK Centennial Parade - by Raven

Raven got to go to the parade in Guthrie with friends today! She took her camera to document it for us :)
These are the pictures that she liked best. Enjoy.

Buffalo Art

Luke and Raven made unique buffaloes for their Centennial Reading Stampede at school. They have both read over 1000 minutes in the first 10 weeks of school. The top buffalo is Luke's and the bottom one is Raven's. Luke wanted his to have the Oklahoma flag and be unique and original. Raven wanted it to be natural. She collected leaves and bark and dirt to glue on. They are entering a contest where a winner per grade will be chosen. Good Luke Kiddos!

Akin Autumn

Jake like the leaves, I think. He likes to run and roll in them. The colors in the trees are just beautiful this fall. Leaves are falling everywhere!

New addition to our family of cars

Here she is, our newest addition to our fleet. Very pretty, nice & clean (for now). JB's driving it & really seems to like it. I like the colors.

Trick or Treat

Raven & Luke trick or treated at Mom's and we walked with some friends through their neighborhood. Then Raven & Luke handed a little bit of candy out at home. It was a good evening. They had a great time as little aliens!

Makin' Pumpkins

I carved Raven & Luke pumpkins this year. JB is much better at it than me,
but I wanted to give it a shot.
They turned out pretty good if I say so my self! :)

Morey Halloween Party

Raven was our little devil & Luke was an alien again. They had a great time with their friends at the Morey's Halloween party.
