Hoover Dam

We got up early and drove over to Hoover Dam. It was only about 45 minutes. We got there before any crowds (which was very nice). It was a bit chilly, but beautiful and amazing. They are in the process of building a bridge across the river to reduce traffic on the dam. That's an engineering marvel! You can see the span of it behind the pic of me, Raven & Luke. There was a monument to the fallen workers while building the dam & also one from the dedication of how the stars & planets were aligned the day of the dedication.
