Day 2 Power Pass
the 2nd half of the 2nd day was spent at the Star Trek Experience and at the Mirage. It was a good day. There were 2 4-D experiences at Star Trek - "invasion of the Borg" & "attack of the Klingons". We saw the dolphin and lion & tigers habitats and the Sigfried & Roy secrete garden.
Power Pass day 1 (day 2 in LV)
After aquiring the Power Pass - we headed to Circus Circus. The indoor amusement park was quite neat! We did quite a few fun rides then headed out to see Star Trek adventure, then on to the Mirage for the hidden garden of lions & tigers and the dolphin habitat. It was very neat! Kids took many pics - see online web album.
Also on this evening we visited the Luxor and explored King Tut's museum where they have exact replication of the actual burial chamber along with numerous articacts. It was a self guided audio tour and one of the kids favorite things. (no pics - i think we were getting tired that evening) At the Luxor, we also did another 4-D experience - "Luxor's In Search of the Obelisk" - Luke & I decided that it was more like being in a video game than some of the other 4-D's we did. It was a simulation of being dropped in a mineshaft into an excavation then a battle for the Obelisk. Very exciting and fun for our whole family.
We ate dinner at a buffett at Excalibur - it was not as good as Main Street.

Day 2 - FAO toy store & LV sign - Details
We went to Ceasar's Palace to pick up our Power Pass from Planet Hollywood's store there. Found out that we had $40 a day to spend there - kids picked out what they wanted the 1st day and we ate a good lunch there the 2nd day.
Before leaving there - we visited FAO Schwarz toy store - the kids had a BLAST! So many toys, so little time. very cool. Kids got to play on the key board like in Big.
Then off to use the Power Pass.

Vegas Christmas - Day 1 Details
we flew out of OKC at about 10:30 AM with a 2 hour plus layover in Denver. Not so bad. Ate lunch & kids watched a movie on the lap top. Got to see Pike's Peak from the plane on the way in. Arrived in Las Vegas at about 3:30 PM local time, got all of our baggage & car (which took a good 90 minutes) and off to check into the hotel.
Kid's got to experience their 1st Vegas Buffet! Raven ate 4 plates and Luke 3. It was filet & shrimp night :) good for the carnivores of our family!
Everyone was exhausted by the time we made it back to our room. off to bed and get ready for day 2 - POWER PASS!

Thanksgiving 2007
JB, Luke, Meme & Papa played pinball. Meme's favorite game is Fish Tales. I don't thinks she stopped laughing while playing :)
JB fried the turkey and I manned the kitchen. I loved it! Mom & Ken (Luke wants to call Ken 'Gramps' now - I think he's OK with that)
came for chili Wednesday evening, but I forgot to get out the camera. It was a very nice evening. Thanksgiving was full of cooking - I loved it! Everything turned out good. No burns, no cuts - it's all good. The kids entertained us with song & dance. We played a few games and watched football.
It was a great holiday! :)

Buffalo Art
Luke and Raven made unique buffaloes for their Centennial Reading Stampede at school. They have both read over 1000 minutes in the first 10 weeks of school. The top buffalo is Luke's and the bottom one is Raven's. Luke wanted his to have the Oklahoma flag and be unique and original. Raven wanted it to be natural. She collected leaves and bark and dirt to glue on. They are entering a contest where a winner per grade will be chosen. Good Luke Kiddos!

New addition to our family of cars
Here she is, our newest addition to our fleet. Very pretty, nice & clean (for now). JB's driving it & really seems to like it. I like the colors.
